Questions, answered

How is my number worked out?

We add up daily calories and water for everyone in your home, babies and pets included, then compare that with what you already have. Whichever runs out first sets your number. It is usually water: about 4 litres per person a day, more in a hot climate.

Is the calculator really free?

Yes. Your score, tier, stockpile totals and cost estimate are free, with no sign-up. Your answers stay in your browser unless you buy a plan.

What do I get for $1?

A plan written for your household: a buying schedule that fits your budget and deadline, a local shopping list with price estimates, water, power, medical and safety checklists, a first-72-hours playbook and rationing guidance. You can update your progress any time, and one plan refresh is included.

Does the plan work without internet?

Yes. Open your plan once and it is stored on your phone. Add Infralapse to your home screen and it opens like an app, even in airplane mode. You can also save it as a PDF.

I bought a plan on another phone. How do I get it back?

Go to My plans and enter the email you paid with. We will send you a one-time sign-in link that restores every plan you have bought.

Is this official emergency advice?

No. Infralapse helps you plan and get started. Always follow your local authorities and official guidance such as Ready.gov or your national Red Cross.
