Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Good Devs (Pty) Ltd (“GoodDevs”, “we”) for your use of Infralapse (infralapse.com). By using the site or buying a plan you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

What Infralapse is

Infralapse helps households estimate how long they could manage if everyday infrastructure (power, water, shops and payments) stopped working, and how to prepare. It offers:

  • a free calculator that estimates your survival days, tier, stockpile targets and costs
  • free guides on emergency preparation
  • an optional paid plan: a personal, AI-written preparation plan for US$2.99

Buying a plan

  • Price: US$2.99, once-off, per plan. There’s no subscription. We may show the price in your local currency as an estimate; the amount you pay is shown at checkout.
  • Merchant of record: purchases are processed by Dodo Payments, which is the seller of record. It takes your payment, handles applicable tax and sends your receipt. Its terms also apply to the payment.
  • Who can buy: you must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to buy a plan.
  • Delivery: your plan is digital content. We start writing it as soon as your payment is confirmed and deliver it immediately, usually within a few minutes. By buying, you ask us to start delivery straight away.
  • Updates and rewrites: you can update your readiness on your plan page at any time for free. Each plan includes one free rewrite of the plan for your updated situation; further rewrites cost US$1.49 each.
  • No refunds: all sales are final. If your plan fails to generate, we’ll fix it and generate it again. See our Refund Policy. This doesn’t affect any rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded.

There are no accounts. Your plan is reached through a private, unguessable link, which may also be emailed to you, and it is saved on your device for offline use. Anyone with the link can open your plan, so keep it private and share it only with people you trust. If you lose the link and your device copy, contact support@infralapse.com with the email address you paid with and we’ll try to help.

Your answers

You’re responsible for the answers you enter. Your plan is based on them, so the more accurate they are, the more useful your plan will be. Don’t include anyone’s name or identifying medical details in the optional note. Anything you type is treated as information for your plan, never as instructions to our systems.

AI-generated content

Plans are written by AI from your answers and general preparedness guidance. AI can make mistakes, including about quantities, prices, food safety and products available where you live. Review your plan with common sense, check important points against official sources, and ask professionals about food safety, medicines and health.

Using your plan and our content

Your plan is for your personal, non-commercial use. You may print it, save it and share it with your household. The site, guides, calculator, design and brand belong to Good Devs (Pty) Ltd. You may link to them and quote short extracts with credit, but don’t copy, republish or sell them.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse Infralapse. That includes scraping or bulk-downloading content, trying to access other people’s plans, trying to get plans without paying, interfering with or overloading the service, reverse engineering it, or using it for anything unlawful.

Free pages show ads from Google AdSense. Ads never appear on paid plans. Ads and links to other sites, including official sources, are provided for convenience. We don’t control or endorse third-party sites, products or services.

Changes and availability

We may change, suspend or discontinue features. We’ll keep paid plans available for as long as we store them under our Privacy Policy, and the copy saved on your device remains yours. If we make material changes to these terms, we’ll update this page and the date above. If you keep using Infralapse after that, you accept the new terms.

Liability

Infralapse is provided “as is”. Survival days, quantities, prices and plans are estimates and may not suit your situation. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on our estimates, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. This doesn’t take away any protection you have under the consumer laws of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim in your local courts where that law allows it.
